This course outlines the work of authors Dr. Paula Kluth & Dr. Julie Causton in a 30 day journey to create a beautifully inclusive, co-taught environment. How does this apply to PreK might you ask? Follow these modules to learn more about how practitioners in the field have successfully used the resources in this book in early childhood environments. This learning course is designed to show you the additional resources and materials that already exist and are ready to be used by practitioners, coaches, administrators, or anyone who finds themselves in a co-taught setting.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the importance of co-taught practices in any inclusive early childhood setting as well as fostering positive outcomes for early learners. 
  2. Learn how to build a positive relationship, co-plan, identify roles and responsibilities, adopt co-teaching structures, problem solve, and more.
  3. Identify key co-teaching practices that will promote quality inclusive practices
  4. Develop ways to support children with disabilities in any environment as it relates to evidence based practices.
